20th Anniversary Celebration at the Gail Harker Center for Creative Arts

September 23, 2015

This past weekend has been so exciting and busy.  Our center celebrated a 20th Anniversary with presentations by guest speakers, demonstrations, a reception, a dinner and 2 exhibitions.  One of the exhibitions was at our center in La Conner and the other was at La Conner Quilt and Textile Museum in La Conner. Here are pictures of zinnias, dahlias and other autumn flowers straight from the fields in La Conner, Washington.  We will have some event pictures to share with you very soon.  Gail Harker

Congratulations Gail. Often when I tell someone about the classes I have taken and will be taking from you I also tell them about your having very successfully created your own school and how impressive that is. What a huge accomplishment to have decided to set up an arts centre focused on embroidery and to make it to 20 years and still be going strong. I hope you are extremely proud of what you have acheived so far, and of what you continue to achieve.

Some wonderful inspirational images Gail. I was so sorry to miss the celebrations but am on a road trip with a friend. I’m sure it was wonderful. Your contributions to our creative communities is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Congratulations! I am looking forward to seeing some of the event photos since I couldn’t be there. The flowers are gorgeous!
