White Rock Stitchers

Level 1 Experimental Hand Stitch

In August I travelled to White Rock, British Columbia to teach the Hand Stitch course to Canadians and Americans.   The weather was still very hot and this popular resort was buzzing with tourists.  Our group stayed cool inside the spacious hall. We  dyed  fabric and threads, and started to make a small portfolio of stitches by hand.  At the end of 5 days  there was a feeling of satisfaction at all of the accomplishments. We could have stitched for another few more days.  It is wonderful to meet like minded people who have a common interest and passion in textiles.  Thanks to Linda Ingham for her hospitality  and for helping with the group.  Gail Harker
