Colors of Montana

July 3, 2015

I just returned from teaching Level 1 Experimental Hand Stitch in Kalispell, Montana.  Ruth Lane, who organized this excursion met me at the airport and we went straight to Camas Creek Yarn Store. Micki, who is the proprietor met us warmly before we proceeded downstairs to get the dyes ready for the 5 day course.  Micki brought in particular threads for our group.  It was wonderful to do my thread introduction there as she had so many different varieties of embroidery threads to show the group. What a wonderful group of hard working ladies. Not only was the hospitality warm but so was the weather with temperatures soaring to 90 and 100. Lucky to have air conditioning. I’m back home in Washington State now, hot here too and looking forward to my next trip to Montana. Thanks Ruth for taking most of the photos.   Gail
