Level 2 Studies in Design and Experimental Stitch – Bergamot

The primary advantage of Level 2 has been the opportunity to look at images through other eyes; those of Gail, Penny and my fellow students.

Also, looking at textiles from a different perspective after having been a professional weaver for 44 years has opened my horizons to incorporate stitch, beads and other materials into my work in ways I had not previously considered. I look forward to using newly acquired skills and knowledge into future work.

Your attention to detail, and use of dark to light values in your work brings freshness and drama. Congratulations on completing Level 2 !
