Reflections in Art of Modern Urban Centers……. Guest Blogger- Lorraine Beegle

Urban environments are created and shaped by the people who live and travel through them. Architecture gives rise to shapes. Cars and people create movement. The marriage of old and new blends the organic with structure. Everywhere there are colors. By their very nature, cities represent millions of people’s creativity. Through my painting, drawings and sculpture, I have worked to capture a moment in the lives of cities and how people have made them a reflection of their individual creativity.

Hi Lorraine – I have always enjoyed your work and treasure a small heart painting I bought from you years ago at The Depot. I am especially lnspired by the way you have combined organic and geometric lines to form a beautiful whole – lovely and poetic!
