Richard Box and Impressionism

June 29, 2013

Meeting old friends regularly is such a rare treat when an ocean separates you. Richard Box and I used see each other regularly in spring, summer and fall at Missenden Abbey in Buckinghamshire, Great Britain where we both taught courses. He continues to teach and lecture all over Britain. He still packs them in whether on courses or his great lectures. Lucky for us he loves to come to visit and teach in North America at our center. The Museum of Northwest Art in La Conner is joining with us to present a free lecture by Richard Box, Impressionism and its Immediate Reaction while he is here. Here’s the date: July 15th at 7:00 p.m.at the Museum. Don’t miss this opportunity. He is also teaching two courses here at our center at Barn House, La Conner in July. There are a couple of spaces left if you would like to come. You don’t have to know anything about landscapes or Impressionism. Gail
