First Class in Barn House – Level 1 Experimental Hand Stitch – Flame Flowers

We managed to get most of the sawdust from the floor before the Level 1 Experimental Hand Stitch group arrived last week.  But it was touch and go for a while.  Don, Nick, Penny and I stayed up all night and were ecstatic when the plumbing was finally tested for the last time at 6:00 a.m.  Just in time to get cleaned up and ready for the group arrival.   The plumbing did function properly and we had all sinks in operation.  Everybody was so complimentary about our new working space, it helped to make us feel that it was all very worthwhile.  Penny and I worked with the group to dye threads and fabric, make many fabric pages of  stitches and then created a small handmade book with the pages. What a great time we all had.  Thanks Flame Flowers… Gail
